Kale: grey with pink veins


A tasty miniature which is delicious fresh in salad or as a green vegetable. It offers its very own subtle cabbage flavour that has a sweet aftertaste. For breakfast with a difference, saute with onion, garlic and tomato and serve with crispy bacon and fried eggs. ANDI score 1000. (Aggregate Nutritional Density Index 1 – 1000). Kale can be gently sauteed with onions and/or garlic as a side dish or in a stirfry.   It pairs well with beans and pork, and is useful in soups especially with these two ingredients.
