Bunch of 6. The scapes are the new buds which will turn into flowers to produce seed. When young and closed they make an excellent addition to soups and stews, adding both interest and taste. They taste of leeks but are a bit more pungent than mature sliced leeks. Can be used together with baby or mature leeks in your dish. Use it to great effect when plating.
